I come to agree that I’m fond of the idea of Trash The Dress Session (a.k.a. TTD a.k.a. After-shoot). The integral concept is a win/win situation for both the couple and photographer.
An after-shoot is not limited to JUST trashing your dress. There are circumstances where there isn’t enough time during a wedding day to take an adequate amount of pictures. Situations where the ceremony site is at the same location as reception usually means photographers have about 45 minutes to take care of portrait shots. For some couple that’s enough but for others, they want more.
The after-shoot embraces that need pleasantly. Once the wedding is wrapped up, the couple gets dress one more time but this time, we have the flexibility to go to multiple locations and capture images that would otherwise not be potential during a busy wedding day. Alena and Paul are quite possibly one of the adventurous couples I’ve worked with! These two are on fire, and we had a steamy SF Trash the Dress session. Alena had a classic chic gown by designer Blue and wore her beautiful smile till the very end! Baker’s Beach gave us perfect warm weather, breezy air and some amazing atmosphere. Every direction we turned completely changed the lighting – and that makes for such an amazing session!

Anna you have outdone yourself once again!! Just an amazing collection of solid keepers. They are ALL so good that its very difficult to even pick the top 5 or 6 images. I love the energy you captured and the beach feel. I also love the Golden Gate in the backgrounds. Great colors throughout that really compliment the bride and groom. Very very nice work!! 🙂
Happy New Year Anna. Like your photo very much. Very natural, happy cnadid style . I do feel the joy when looking at your photos . You just can catch the right moment at the right time. chun lah.Hope to more of your photos in the near future soon. Take care. Bye ()
